Support Shad
I’m going to Shad Valley this summer, 2010!
I could use some support, so let me educate you about the reasons to help me out.
- Shad is a four week program hosted at desirable, Canadian university campuses (like uWaterloo, whee!)
- Among like-minded students, an enterprise for an entrepreneurial project ensues
- It’s a fantastic program for networking, maximizing a student’s potential while starting a brand new cooperative project
- Experience the university life, a new place in Canada, tons of unique students, new friends, super fun and challenging projects
It’s pretty much my idea of utopia, in all the good connotations. So, if you like to snoop around the website for a total cost you can or just trust me that I’m trying to gain a considerable amount of admission fees and I only would wish that the viewers would support a fraction of it. You don’t owe me, I just figure there are many friendly people who I won’t visit door-to-door who know how great of an opportunity this is for a kid like me then please donate to your heart’s content. What’s an appropriate donation? Well, I donated $6.44 USD to Wikipedia last year and felt proud supporting their campaign and that’s all up to you. It’d really help, (it is a few thousand dollars.)
As I said in the video, I’m going no matter what, so any support in monetary or advice is welcomed because I need all I can get to show my full potential this summer. I can’t wait and I’ll be blogging about it the whole time (on the Shad blog that is.)
Thanks for tuning in over the past year, it’s been a great project this Jay Daily thing. It’s now time to start something new, a new challenge, a new outlook.
